Steinberger`s ZT3 model is situated within the Z3 Collection series and it offers a bit non-standard body by Steinberger`s standards. It has a Soloist-shaped double-cut body made of plain maple back and flamed maple top. Modern cutaway has long, pointy horns and runs deep, thus enabling the player to reach the top frets with ease. Transparent Black, Red and Blue are available color schemes. All are finished in gloss and have black hardware. Tremolo bridge is installed on this model and it also features the tuning machines in the back. 91 T USA humbucker is found in the bridge position, while the 90R is in the neck position. Neck on this model is made of maple and it is topped with a 24-fret phenolic fingerboard.

Ability to change pitch of guitar using the Transtrem is a time saving, well thought out engineering marvel. The 2 "tapable" gibson pickups have great tonal qualities and allow you to play many musical genres. Stays in perfectly in tune even after changes in temeperature!! 24 frets allows achievement of super high buzz free clear notes. Guitar was well set up and ready to go out of the case, it was even still in tune having been shipped from the US to Canada in the trunk of a car!! This will be my gigging guitar (my other guitars that I have used on gigs is are Gibson Les Paul Standard, Standard Fender Strat (American) and a Gibson SG, the ZT-3 is my new Favourite) Would definately by another if lost or stolen. Can't speak to price, received as a gift.... Feels solid and as such have every confidence in the guitar LOVE it!!!!!
