JP100 is the flagship of the JP fleet in the Sterling Guitars catalog. Sterling is a budget-friendly sub-brand of Music Man and it offers the high quality alternatives to the upscale Music Man models. JP100 is a solid and double-cut guitar with body made of basswood back and quilted maple top. This combo is one of the most common in basswood plus top situations and it is especially popular in budget segments to boost the appeal of the certain model. Hardware on this six-stringer is plated in chrome. Standard, non-locking tremolo bridge on this model has string-through construction and it is fronted with a pair of passive humbuckers. Neck is made of maple and it is bolted to the body. 24-fret fingerboard on it`s top is made of rosewood.
