James Valentine is the main axeman of the Los Angeles based pop-rock giants Maroon 5. He`s been with the band 17 years now and has appeared on all six studio albums. Valentine is also one of the premier Music Man signature artists. His signature series features both flagship models (sold under the main brand) and Sterling models. JV60 belongs to the latter, being his only Sterling model at the moment. Main features of this six-string rocker include a solid body made of Mississippi swamp ash, roasted hard maple neck, passive humbuckers with active 9V boost, and stock hardware. JV60 comes in Trans Buttermilk and Black. Both variants sport chrome hardware, tortoiseshell pickguards, and unpainted headstocks. Other notable features include a 22-fret roasted maple fingerboard, string-thru hardtail bridge, and die-cast tuners.
