The Original Idol Series from Washburn is dedicated to the production of solid bodied guitars which resemble the legendary Les Paul, but have a slight upper cutaway. WI 15 is an entry level model of the line and starts off with a solid body made of basswood. The body features beveled edges, flat top and glossy finish on black paint. The neck is made of maple and joined to the body via the bolt-on joint. Rosewood fingerboard features 22 medium frets with dot position inlays. The scale i s 24-3/4" long, with fingerboard radius measuring at 12" and synthetic bone nut at 1.65". The pickups are two open coil humbuckers controlled through split volume and tone knobs and a three-way toggle switch. The bridge is made up of a tune-o-matic and a stoptail bar.
