Yamaha`s Pacifica series is one of the most popular Strat-base series ever produced. Pacifica owes it`s success to pretty much the same blend of characteristics the original Strat owes it to, it`s simplicity of design and construction, utter reliability, ease of play and that irresistible Strat charm. Pacifica`s 112VCX is one of many 112 versions and it comes with a solid, flat-top body made of alder. On the top, there is a big plastic pickguard, a standard tremolo bridge (Wilkinson) with string-through construction and chrome plating. Pickups in the front are Alnico Vs in H/S/S configuration. Master volume, master tone and a five-position blade switch comprise the controls. Also, bridge humbucker can be split. Maple neck has a comfortable contour in the back and a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on top.
