Yamaha`s Revstar series was inspired by the cafe racer culture of the 1960s, classic, hard-driving rock `n` roll, and players on the quest for that perfect rocking tone. The current lineup has eight models, which cover a huge stretch (from lower-intermediate class to professional class). RS502 is one of two intermediate-class options loaded with P-90 pickups (Seymour Duncan SP90s in bridge and neck positions). Main features include a solid mahogany body, glued-in neck w/24-3/4" scale, passive electronics, and simple hardware. Shop Black and Billet Green are the names of the available color options. Other notable features include a maple top w/aluminum pickguard on top, 3-piece mahogany neck, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard, a simple wraparound bridge, and die-cast tuners.
