Gibson USA 50th Anniversary Thunderbird Bass is an exceptional example of Gibson`s signature quality. It comes with a solid, flat body made of mahogany wings and mahogany center. Central section is a part of the neck, for this model features the neck-through-body construction. Bullion Gold is the only color scheme available for this four-stringed Thunderbird. Nitrocellulose gloss finish and gold-plated hardware complement it. Three-point adjustable bridge is fronted with modern Thunderbird Bass pickups. Master tone and two volume knobs control them. Neck is made of mahogany and together with the mahogany body wings it forms the base for superior tone. It features the rounded contour in the back and a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard on top.
