Brand New Eastside LC by Collings Guitars

At 2012 Frankfurt Musikmesse Collings Guitars unveiled the exquisite Eastside LC, their latest update of the highly successful Archtop series.

Collings Guitars hail from Austin Texas, and they bring high quality guitars in both acoustic and electric segments. From a one-car garage workshop in 1973, Collings guitars have gradually expanded their business and influence, and are now a significant brand with well defined market positions. Today, they operate from 22,000 square feet shop located on the outskirts of Austin, TX. In addition to acoustic, electric and archtop guitars, they produce mandolins and ukuleles. For 2012 Frankfurt Musikmesse, they brought a brand new Eastside LC, a fully hollow bodied update to the vintage-styled Archtop Series.

Collings Eastside LC is a fully hollow bodied guitar from Collings Archtop series. It comes with a single cutaway body made of laminated maple back, sides and top. White binding is surrounding both the top and back of the body. Top is arched and equipped with "f" holes and an elevated pickguard. Pickups department features only a humbucker in the neck position, and it is controlled through master volume and tone knobs. mahogany neck is attached to the body via the set-in joint and topped with a rosewood fingerboard. 22 frets, dot position inlays and 1-11/16" string nut complete the fingerboard.
