Gretsch was and is primarily known as a brand of exclusive instruments, and the addition of the Electromatic Collection back in the day opened the doors for a huge range of players who always wanted but could not afford a Gretsch six-string. In recent years, the Electromatic line grew both in size and popularity, as well as quality, and is now considered one of the finest sub-$1000 series available. Its Pro Jet and Duo Jet chambered solids are the strongest most vital sub-series the series has on the roster and the brand new G5434T-LTD Electromatic® Pro Jet™ Limited Edition raises the bar with its equally impressive specs list and performance. White-clad and loaded with Blacktop FilterTron pickups, the new chamber-bodied Pro Jet is ready for takeoff. The only down side we could find is that Limited Edition badge in the name, for we at Chorder`s HQ loved it all, the looks, the tone, the feel, everything. We just couldn`t get our hands off.

Gretsch G5434T-LTD Electromatic® Pro Jet™ Limited Edition is a single-cut guitar with an all-basswood body, instead of the standard mahogany/maple combo which characterizes the Jet range. Gold-plated hardware contrasts the gloss white body and headstock, giving this gorgeous axe a very expensive and stylish look. Pickups installed in the bridge and neck positions are the regular Black Top FilterTrons seen on the regular Pro Jet models. Together with the basswood body and the maple neck, these pickups are able to pull off a wide variety of styles, ranging from rockabilly and rock and roll of the fifties to modern alternative rock and even hard rock. 22-fret rosewood fingerboard, vintage-styled tuners and adjust-o-matic bridge with a Bigsby vibrato tailpiece are also featured.
