Schecter Guitar Research reinforced their catalog with eight new bass models. Damien and Hellraiser families of models got four new basses each. Damien`s Elite bass division received following updates: Damien Elite-4, Damien Elite-4 Left Handed, Damien Elite-5 and Damien Elite-5 Left Handed. These models represent the intermediate level bass offerings from Schecter with their bolted necks, EMG pickups, quilted maple top caps and rosewood fingerboards. Hellraiser got it`s Extreme bass line and it currently enlists: Hellraiser Extreme-4, Hellraiser Extreme-4 Left Handed, Hellraiser Extreme-5 and Hellraiser Extreme-5 Left Handed. Hellraiser Extreme represents the cream of the crop among serial production basses from Schecter with exclusive wood and hardware options.
Schecter Damien Elite-4 and Schecter Damien Elite-4 Left Handed represent the basic models from Damien Elite bass line. All of the Damien aesthetic appointments are there, carved top double cutaway body, quilted maple top and abalone gothic cross inlays. In the hardware section, there is a mix between Schecter and EMG components. Bridge and tuners are Schecter, while the pickups come from EMG. Maple necks with rosewood fingerboards are also standard Damien features. 24 extra jumbo frets and 34" scales complete the specs for these models. Schecter Damien Elite-5 and Schecter Damien Elite-5 Left Handed represent the extended range options in this mid-ranged series of electric basses from Schecter. As well as their four-stringed siblings, five-string Elites have recognizable Damien looks with a mix of Schecter and EMG hardware. These basses are available only in crimson red color with gloss finish. Mahogany bodies have carved quilted maple tops with multi-ply black binding. 24 extra jumbo frets, comfortable maple necks and deep cutaways put these among the most playable basses around.
