AB is a novelty in the Cavallo series and it brings unprecedented tone and build quality for it`s price class.
DBZ Guitars are a fairly young brand and to those who don`t know it`s ancestry and origin it might seem as if it just appeared out of nowhere with an arsenal of mighty and affordable guitars. The fact is, when Dean Zelinsky parted ways with Dean Guitars, he founded DBZ Guitars in Houston, TX. The aim of this new brand is to offer top notch guitars and basses with more personality and flavor. Also, one of it`s main traits is Mr Zelinsky`s involvement into every sphere of the company, from web site`s forum to design and build process. This time around, DBZ Guitars have prepared one true battle axe for the bravest among metalheads. It`s name is Cavallo AB and it is a steed that must be tamed, or it will throw you off the saddle in no time. Based upon previous V-shaped designs of Mr Zelinsky, this model brings size, monster tone and great quality for the money invested.
DBZ Cavallo AB comes with a solid V contoured body with big and long tail fins. This might not seem practical at first glance, but the first strum of the chords explains with sustain of epic proportions. Mahogany back and carved maple top comprise the body. Black, Solid Wine Red, Vintage Natural and White are color options available for this model. They all come finished in gloss. Tune-o-matic bridge is paired with string-through body construction and it`s plated in nickel. Pickups are manufactured by DBZ and installed in H/H pattern. These active buckers are accompanied by master volume, master tone and three-way toggle pickup switch. These pickups can be split through a push-pull switch. Mahogany neck features set-in joint and ebonized rosewood fingerboard on top. 22 frets with dot inlays are found on the fingerboard. The MSRP is set at $1,073.
