Ten new models are coming at the very start of the 2012 from Fender Custom Shop. There are nine electric guitars and one bass model.

For decades now, Custom Shop revives the past and fast forwards to future with ease, elegance and style. This year`s novelties come from Time Machine, Pro Collection and Custom Deluxe series. Time Machine brings 1951 NOS Nocaster, 1951 Relic Nocaster, 1956 Heavy Relic Stratocaster, 1961 Telecaster Custom, 1960 Relic Stratocster and 1961 Closet Classic Jazz Bass. Pro Collection series has got 2012 Closet Classic Stratocaster Pro and 2012 Closet Classic Telecaster Pro. Fender Custom Shop 1951 NOS Nocaster is a tribute to the original run of Broadcaster/Nocaster models before the Broadcaster model got renamed into the Telecaster we know today. It is a flat top solid bodied guitar made of figured ash body and maple neck. The bridge is a classic three-saddle Tele bridge with a "tray" and chrome plating. Pickup combo is standard two single coils, one in the bridge with slanted socket and one in the bridge. Maple neck has '50s U shape and a maple fingerboard with 21 medium jumbo frets and black dot inlays. Fender Custom Shop 1951 Relic Nocaster is another homage to that initial Noacster run in 1951. The series only had around 475 units made. These are now some of the most sought after collector guitars. This new Relic Nocaster is made of ash body and maple neck. The body is flat and available in Nocaster blonde. Classic Tele bridge has three saddles and a tray around the slanted single coil bridge picku. The other pickup is regular single coil in the neck. Fender Custom Shop 1956 Heavy Relic Stratocaster comes from the Time Machine Series and celebrates the models from 1956. This heavy relic ha an ash body paired with a maple neck. It is available in faded two-color sunburst and black. Vintage styled synchronized tremolo bridge has string-through construction and chrome plating. Three single coil pickups are laid out in the standard pattern. The fingerboard on this model is made of maple and features 21 medium jumbo frets and black dot position inlays. Fender Custom Shop 1961 Closet Classic Jazz Bass is a celebration of one of the finest Jazz Bass models ever produced, the 1961 Jazz Bass. It comes with an alder body and maple neck. Black and arctic white are the only color options available. Vintage American bridge hasa an aluminum cover with "f" engraved on top. Two single coil pickups are built onto this model.
