Fender Kurt Cobain Jaguar signature model comes with all the bits and pieces which made Kurt`s original guitar a flag bearer of the new sound back in the early 1990s.
Fender comes up with a new signature model, and this time it`s a Fender Kurt Cobain Jaguar signature guitar. And, it is down to the last detail replica of the guitar that legendary Kurt played through the 1990s, and which shaped not only Kurt`s and Nirvana`s sound, it became the voice of a new generation. Here, before our eyes is a guitar truly worthy of it`s heritage and iconic name.
Craftsmen at Fender Guitars gave their best effort in order to, and made a meticulous reconstruction, including the road worn finish, dual humbuckers and custom electronics and control knobs.
The body of Fender Kurt Cobain Jaguar is carved out of alder wood and combined with a Fender`s traditional option, the bolt-on neck. Upon the flat-top body sits black chrome Adjust-o-matic bridge with floating vintage-styled tremolo tailpiece and tremolo lock button. Engine compartment on this sunburst beauty contains two humbucking pickups. In the bridge position there is DiMarzio DP103 PAF 36th anniversary humbucker, and in the neck position there is DiMarzio DP100 Super Distortion humbucker. Controls include triple knurled "chrome dome" knobs. there are three knobs, separate volume knobs for each pickup, and a master tone. Pickup switch is a three-way toggle switch. C-shaped male neck is connected to the body via bolt-on joint, and features rosewood fingerboard with white binding, 22 medium jumbo frets and pearl dot inlays. Vintage Stratocaster headstock with "spaghetti" Fender logo features six in-line sealed Gotoh tuners.
Other features include: 9.5" fingerboard radius, gloss-urethane finish upon road-worn, three tone sunburst paint job, 1.650" nut width, 24" scale, 4-bolt neck plate, nickel/chrome hardware, synthetic bone nut, two-position slide switch for switching between "lead" and "rhythm" circuits and a four-ply tortoise shell pickguard.
Fender Kurt Cobain Jaguar comes with a black hardshell case and an exclusive Fender Kurt Cobain Book featuring photos by Charles Peterson. It is available in three color sunburst, and left handed, as well as right handed.
