As a successor to the Mexican-made Telecaster Cabronita Fender introduces an affordable model also named Cabronita and revives the legend once more.
Fender has had countless popular models in it`s history, many iconic designs and legendary guitars and basses. Among them is Cabronita Telecaster produced in Mexico. This model has many passionate followers and enjoys huge popularity as a collectible guitar. For all those hung up on Cabronita`s unique tone and charisma, Fender prepares a brand new Telecaster Cabronita for the summer 2012. This model is situated within it`s own series named after it and is currently the only model in the series.
Fender Telecaster Cabronita is a single cutaway guitar made of a classic single cutaway Telecaster body in combination with C-shaped maple neck. Body is made of alder on Black and 3-Color Sunburst options and of ash on White Blonde. It is flat and features no binding. Only Black has white plastic pickguard, while the other two have black pickguards. Hardtail bridge is equipped with string-through construction and pickups are Fidelitron humbuckers in both the bridge and neck positions. Single volume knob and three-way toggle switch comprise the controls unit. Neck is made of maple, equipped with C contour and topped with a maple fingerboard with black dot inlays.
