Fender Launches Double Jaguar Assault

 50th Anniversary Jaguar and Johnny Marr Jaguar signature model are being unveiled for the upcoming 2012.

 Jaguar is one of Fender`s classics, a guitar for all misfits and anti-heroes of rock`n`roll. Jaguar is the right companion for all adventures off the beaten paths of music. It`s unusual body shape, short 24 inch scale and utterly distinctive tone have made an immeasurable contribution to rock, punk, post-punk, grunge and alternative rock scenes. First introduced in 1962, Jaguar still remains a force to be reckoned with. This year, at it`s very beginning 50th Anniversary Jaguar and Johnny Marr Jaguar signature models are released to lead the Jaguar into the second half of the century and rejuvenate it for the upcoming generations.

Fender 50th Anniversary Jaguar is every bit of a killing machine, as it is a show piece. It is the most luxurious Jaguar ever built in Fender`s workshops and factories. This American made guitar comes with a solid, double cutaway body made of alder with a flat top and gloss finish. Lake placid blue, candy apple red and burgundy mist metallic are color options chosen for this jubilee model. The bridge is a vintage floating trem with chrome plating and locking button. Two single coils are specially designed for this model. The neck is made of maple and equipped with a C contour and bolt-on joint. Fender Johnny Marr Jaguar is a signature model made n honor of the legend of British pop scene of the '80s. It comes in Olympic white and metallic KO colors with gloss finish. The body on this Jag is made of top quality alder and paired with a maple neck. Bridge section is made up of vintage floating tremolo with chrome plating and trem locking button. The pickups are special custom wound Bare Knuckle single coils placed in both the bridge and neck positions. The maple neck is equipped with a custom contour specified by Johnny and a rosewood fingerboard. 22 vintage frets, dot inlays and 1.65" synthetic bone nut complete the specs.
