Squier fires big guns this summer as Vintage Modified series gets updated with five new models. Already proven formula of classic looks and modern tone delivers this brand new set of Vintage Modifieds for a new generation of guitarists. Classic body shapes, Duncan Designed pickups and a classic set of color options bring this vintage-modern series to new heights. Models introduced are Vintage Modified Jaguar, Vintage Modified Jazzmaster, Vintage Modified Mustang, Vintage Modified Telecaster Deluxe and Vintage Modified Telecaster Custom. All five of these come with fantastic price/quality ratio.
Squier Vintage Modified Telecaster Deluxe comes with a classic single cutaway Tele body made of basswood. It is available in Black and Olympic white with chrome hardware. Bridge is a hardtail with string-through construction and pickups are wide range humbuckers in both the bridge and neck positions. Split volume and tone controls are accompanied by a three-way toggle switch. C-contoured maple neck is topped with a maple fingerboard with 21 frets. Squier Vintage Modified Telecaster Custom is the second of two Teles introduced into Vintage Modified series this summer and it comes with a single cutaway body made of basswood. Bridge is a vintage-styled "tray" bridge with three saddles and "tray" encompassing the slanted single coil bridge pickup. This single coil is accompanied by a wide range humbucker in the neck position. Maple neck is topped with a maple fingerboard with 21 dot-covered frets. Squier Vintage Modified Mustang has three color options: Candy Apple Red, Vintage White and Sonic Blue. All are finished in gloss. Mustang features a body made of basswood, as is the case with all five newcomers. Vintage styled bridge is combined with a floating tremolo. In front of the bridge, a pair of slanted Duncan Designed single coil pickups is installed. Master volume, master tone and on/off switches for each pickup comprise the controls unit. Squier Vintage Modified Jaguar is the smallest of the bunch, but still packs the punch of it`s bigger brothers. Traditional 24 inch scale is matched with classic basswood-made Jaguar body and C-shaped maple neck. Color palette for this model includes 3-Color Sunburst, Olympic White, Candy Apple Red and Surf Green. All come with gloss finish. Duncan Designed single coil pickups are installed in both the bridge and neck positions. Neck is made of maple and features C contour. This is signature Fender/Squier feature. Squier Vintage Modified Jazzmaster is the fifth and last update prepared for this summer`s edition of Vintage Modified series. It combines the classic looks with modern tone of Duncan Designed pickups. These single coils come with master volume, master tone and separate commands for both the "rhythm" and "lead" circuits. Bridge behind these pickups is a vintage-styled tremolo bridge with string-through construction and chrome plating. Neck is traditionally made of maple and equipped with C contour.
