Two limited edition electric guitars, one signature electric bass and one acoustic-electric bass is the lineup of Ibanez novelties this time.
Ibanez brings us four hot new models for 2012 and they are coming from all over the catalog. Two solid bodied electric guitars, one solid electric bass from the signature artist series and one hollow-bodied acoustic-electric bass. Electric guitars department brings two quarter-century anniversary models, RG1XXV and S1XXV. Electric bass is Sharlee D` Angelo SDB2 signature and SGBE110 comes from the acoustic bass division.
Ibanez RG1XXV is a 25-year anniversary model for the RG series. It comes with standard RG features packed in wild fluorescent yellow and fluorescent pink color options with black pickguards and color-matching sharktooth inlays. Pickup covers, control knobs and headstock overlays are also painted to match the body. Edge double locking tremolo, DiMarzio IBZ pickups are set in the classic H-S-H RG layout. Ibanez S1XXV comes as an S series jubilee model. Celebration of a quarter of a century is colored in fluorescent green and fluorescent yellow colors with matching headstocks, fingerboard inlays and special neon super strings painted in the body color. Other than that, this a good old S model with a standard set of features. Mahogany body with a double cutaway and carved top features no binding or pickguards. DiMarzio IBZ pickups are featured on this model`s standard H-S-H layout. maple neck, rosewood fingerboard and 24 jumbo frets complete the spec. Ibanez SDB-2 comes as a successor of the SDB-1, Sharlee`s first signature Ibanez bass. This heavy rocker brings supreme wood and hardware options along with a formidable tone. It starts of with a Iceman shaped mahogany body and maple/bubinga neck. The bridge is made of four independent monorail saddles and painted in black. Ibanez pickups are commanding the tone with ruthless ferocity. 22 medium frets and iron cross inlays sit upon a rosewood fingerboard. Ibanez SGBE110 is a brand new hollow-bodied acoustic-electric bass made of mahogany/spruce body and mahogany neck. It`s grand concert body is equipped with white binding and tortoise shell pickguard. Ibanez piezo pickup and AEQ 202T preamp are in charge of the amplification. Natural gloss and vintage sunburst are the only color options available for this four-stringer. 20 frets, dot inlays, die-cast tuners and ivorex string nut complete the features roster.
