Fret King 2012 New Models

2012 brings us three brand new acoustics from Fret King. They are all placed within the Jubilee Series, and their names are RNJ-17, RAJ-116 and RAJ-126.

Recording King guitars are known as some of the best when it comes to vintage instruments and guitars inspired by the golden age of acoustics. Their models draw heavily upon the legendary guitars and give an outstanding quality in their price range. Affordability and great tone are hallmarks of RK guitars. 2012 NAMM Show saw three novelties in their catalog. This time around, the spotlights were on Jubilee series within the Century division of the catalog. Three new models were introduced, RNJ-17 Greenwich Village, RAJ-116 and RAJ-126.

Recording King RNJ-17 Greenwich Village comes with a small-sized non-cutaway body made of rosewood back and sides and solid spruce top. It`s body has extra depth to compensate for the shape and give full-sized tone. Mahogany neck on this beauty is made of mahogany with a C contour and a dovetail joint at 13th fret. Upon this neck, rosewood fingerboard is placed, and it contains 20 frets with bell flower inlays. The bridge is also made of rosewood and it sports a bone saddle to match the bone string nut. Recording King RNJ-17 Greenwich Village

Recording King RAJ-116 is a slope shoulder, non-cutaway dreadnought guitar made of mahogany back and sides and a solid spruce top.This body i paired with a mahogany neck through a dovetail joint at the standard 14th fret. Rosewood fingerboard with 20 frets and dot inlays is matched with a rosewood belly-shaped bridge. Bone saddle and string nut are standard for this model. Third and final update comes in the shape of Recording King RAJ-126, a non-cutaway slope-shoulder dreadnought. It`s body is made of mahogany back and sides and solid spruce top. Standard mahogany neck with a C contour is connected to the body with a dovetail joint. Upon the neck, 20-fret fingerboard is made of rosewood.
