Gibson Custom Collector`s Choice #10 Tom Scholz 1968 Les Paul is a crown jewel of the Collector`s series and it`s latest addition. For all those passionately in love with true rock n` roll and Les Paul`s classic tone, price of $9,409 and limited quantity of up to 300 copies won`t matter much, for this chance comes only once every million years. This Collector`s LP is a stunningly beautiful and faithful reproduction of Tom`s original Les Paul. It`s been nailed down to every scratch, dent and modification detail. Unchambered mahogany body is topped with a two-piece plain maple top and paired with a set in mahogany neck. Top of the body is available in Antique Natural and the back is painted in Dark Brown. Tune-o-matic bridge is paired with an aluminum stoptail bar and fronted with DiMarzio Super Distortion in the bridge and Gibson P-90 in the neck position. Set in mahogany neck has a chunky back contour in the back and a 22-fret fingerboard made of a single piece of rosewood. Kluson tuners are replaced by Schaller M6, just like on Tom`s original LP.
