Les Paul Studio goes nitrous with brand new model. Four solid muscle car color options and coil splitting set this one apart.
From time to time things need to be shaken in order to remain fresh and active. It`s a rule that applies to all spheres and aspects of life, and thus to guitars. For almost three decades Les Paul Studio has been the choice of hard working musicians who pit ultimate performance ahead of ultimate looks. Introduced in 1980s as an alternative to highly decorated and shiny Les Paul Standards and Customs, Studio quickly gained cult following for it`s no nonsense philosophy and style. These days Gibson is reinventing the Studio with this brand new Nitrous Les Paul Studio model. It comes with a selection of four solid muscle car color options and coil splitting for both pickups. It`s time to give Studio players some spotlight time without compromising the ultimate performance pack Studios traditionally offer.
Gibson Nitrous Les Paul Studio comes with a mahogany-made base of the body with carved maple top. Body is equipped with new weight relief chamber construction. Top is carved, unbound and barren, meaning there`s no pickguard. Tune-o-matic bridge is paired with stoptail bar in bridge section. 498T is in the bridge and 490R in the neck position. Volume knobs have push/pull switches for coil splitting. Also, separate tone knobs and a three-way toggle pickup switch can be found in controls unit. Neck is made of mahogany and it`s equipped with '60s contour in the back and topped with granadillo fingerboard. 22 frets, acrylic trapezoids, 12" radius and 1.695" corian nut can be found on the fingerboard. Grover tuners and 24-3/4" scale complete the specs list. The MSRP is set at $2,199. For more info check Nitrous Les Paul Studio detail page on our site or on Gibson Guitars official web page.
