One of the finest Gretsch models so far is being introduced into the Professional series. It is made for Billy Duffy and it boasts one of the most impressive specs lists among the Gretsch models.
Gretsch Guitars enter the new year with full speed and strength. First half of the January hasn`t passed and Gretsch shows with the new model that there won`t be no slack cut to the competition. New G7593T Billy Duffy White Falcon is the new gem of the Professional collection and the entire catalog, as well. It comes with recognizable dual Filtertron humbucker set installed in front of the bridge section. These pickups are custom wound for Billy Duffy and his magnificent guitar. These bad boys can deliver everything from the smooth clean tone to high speed dirt and heavy overdrive. Three volume knobs accompany them, one for each pickup, plus the master volume knob. Pickup switch is a three-way toggle. Bridge section is equipped with ebony-based adjust-o-matic bridge with Bigsby vibrato and a trapezoid tailpiece in the back. Chrome-plated Grover tuners complete the hardware section of this model.
Gretsch G7593T Billy Duffy White Falcon is a fully hollow guitar with single-cut body made entirely of maple. Both the back and side panels of the body are arched and top side is equipped with a pair of "f" holes. One hole is carved on the either side of the bridge. Top is also bound in white and features no pickguard. Set-in neck on this model is made of three pieces of wood. Two maple laminates and one walnut piece comprise the neck. It is equipped with a 22-fret fingerboard on top. Fingerboard is made of ebony and it features block inlays, medium-jumbo frets, 1.71" wide bone nut and 12" radius. Scale measures 25-1/2".
