For Summer 2012 Schecter unveils one of the most extreme models in company history, a Floyd Rose equipped eight-stringer with mighty EMG 808 pickups.
Schecter Guitars from the creation of Diamond series have a reputation of a brand which delivers awesome metal-oriented electric guitars. Damien, Blackjack, Hellraiser and other series models just stood out from the crowd with super high quality and very distinguishable aesthetics. Up until 2012 and the introduction of Hellraiser Extreme, Hellraiser series occupied the top spot in the catalog. For this year it is updated with several models, of which, one is Hellraiser C-8 FR, an uncompromising low-tuned beast with Floyd Rose tremolo bridge. This beast is as beautiful as it is ferocious, thus making for one of the best and most complete packages on the market.
Schecter Hellraiser C-8 FR comes with double cutaway body with ultra access construction of the lower cutaway. It is made of mahogany and topped with quilted maple on Black Cherry color option. Black variant has no top wood, though the mahogany top is carved in the same fashion as the quilted maple top on the Black Cherry colored Hellraiser. Abalone binding and gloss finish wrap the body specs. Floyd Rose bridge is plated in black chrome to match the Grover tuners, pickup covers and control pots. EMG supplies the 808 combo of pickups. These are based upon already well established 707 series. Two volume knobs and one tone comprise the controls unit. Mahogany neck features a set-in joint and standard series contour on the back. The main feature of this neck is carbon fiber truss rod. Rosewood fingerboard is equipped with 24 extra jumbo frets, Gothic Cross inlays and a locking nut. Grover tuners and 28" scale complete the specs list. For more info check Hellraiser C-8 FR detail page on our site or on Schecter Guitars official web page.
