Ibanez and Paul Gilbert introduce new Ibanez Paul Gilbert FRM100TR, stunningly beautiful, playable and versatile guitar. One of the best additions to Ibanez catalog this Fall.
Ibanez FRM100TR emerged when Paul picked up the original Ibanez Iceman and turned it`s body upside down and named it The Fireman. Now the signature model is coming out. It`s other-worldly looks turn all the spotlights and heads wherever it appears with it`s blend of traditional and innovative design. The fireman plays just as good as it looks, which means this is one deadly axe.
Only the supreme tone woods, parts and features were considered for Ibanez FRM100TR. Therefore, it comes with a solid mahogany body in the stunning and intricate reversed Iceman shape. For the bridge, one of the best tune-o-matic type bridges, the "Tight-Tune" was selected and paired with a stoptail bar. Unprecedented sustain and stability are guaranteed. Pickups are Paul`s favorite make, the DiMarzio`s. Three single coil units are placed in the bridge, middle and neck positions. DiMarzio Injectors are in the bridge and neck positions and DiMarzio Area `67 in the middle position. Tone of the single coils is combined with the hum-canceling construction properties of the humbucking pickups for an unprecedented clarity, warmth and noiseless performance. These pickups cut even through the thickest of the band mixes with ease while retaining the clear tone. Controls for these pickups consist of the master tone and master volume knobs combined with a five way blade pickup switch. Pots are moved below and behind bridge by Paul`s personal request to create more space and comfort for the right hand
Ibanez FRM100TR has fatter neck than previous Paul`s RG series signature models. It offers more vintage and classic feel, but retains the speed and ease of play. It is set-in and made of three pieces of mahogany and maple. Rosewood fingerboard has 22 medium frets and dot inlays. Frets are now narrower and taller than on previous Paul Gilbert signature models
Other features include: chrome hardware, 24-3/4" scale, 1.69" nut width, a pickguard and 12" fingerboard radius.
Beautiful beyond words, Ibanez FRM100TR delivers a massive punch as well with an unmatched tone and playability. Check FRM100TR at our detail page or and Ibanez Guitars official web page.
