KM series is conquering new grounds with these updates. A pair of vicious six-stringers joins the already very popular KM sevenstringers.
Keith Merrow, one of the leading shredders and leading seven-string players is already a well established Schecter signature artist. Thus far, Keith`s signature series has consisted exclusively of seven-stringed guitars. In order to expand the horizons, Schecter and Keith have decided on a bold move, they`ve decide to throw a pair of six-stringers into the game to attract the players reluctant to buy a seven-stringer. Both a right and left-handed variant are being introduced and in further on in this article both of them will be examined. KM-6 and KM-6 LH are their names. KM-6 comes in both the black and white options, while the lefty is only available in black.
Schecter Keith Merrow KM-6 threatens to eclipse every hardtail model in it`s price range with a brutally fierce tone and mind-blowing set of specs. Swamp ash body of this extreme six-string axe is covered with a carved flamed maple top and paired with a three-piece maple neck. Both the body and the neck are finished in satin. Hardtail bridge is fronted with a pair of Seymour Duncan`s Blackened Black Winter humbuckers, while the simple controls unit gets a surprising level of versatility out of them (despite of the lack of the toe button).
