The exclusive manufacturer Leather Guitars have brought one novelty for this year`s Frankfurt Musikmesse, it is a strat-like model called Tramp.
All kinds of guitars exist, and many concepts appear daily, as it is an ever evolving industry. But one of the most original concepts includes leather being applied onto the body instead of the paint and lacquer. This approach gives completely new dimension to electric guitars, and it is being done by Leather Guitars which are lead by Georg Beis. They make high-end exclusive guitars and wrap their bodies and headstocks in leather. For this year`s edition of Frankfurt Musikmesse Leather Guitars brought a brand new model called Tramp. It is a high-end guitar with top shelf materials and craftsmanship being applied in the process of it`s making.
Leather Guitars Tramp has a rather conventional shape, reminiscent of the legendary Strat. Double cutaway body is made of alder and paired with a maple neck. The body features a flat top and black carbon pickguard. There are no top bindings applied on this model due to it`s body being completely covered in leather. Only the pickguard area is not wrapped in leather. Bridge on this model is a classic tremolo with string-through construction and chrome plating. Pickups department features H/S/S configuration with master volume and tone knobs to control them. five-position blade pickup switch completes the controls department. Maple neck is bolted and topped with a rosewood fingerboard. 22 medium jumbo frets, 25-1/2" scale and Schaller tuners complete the specs.
