New guitar is launched at Line 6 booth at this year`s NAMM. JTV-89F belongs to the Jason Tyler Variax series and brings all the goods Line-6 guitars are known for.
One of the most recent brakthroughs on the guitar market was made by Line 6 with it`s Variax models. NAMM 2013 sees continuation in the same direction by Line 6 and one more very successful blend of traditional guitar appointments and super advanced software developed by Line 6. Namde of the model is JTV-89F and it comes with a solid, double-cut body made of magogany. It`s flat on top and contoured in the back for better comfort. Blood Red and Black are the only color options available for this model and they both come with high gloss finish. There`s no pickguard on this model. Bridge is a licensed Floyd Rose trem bridge made by Graphtech. Locking nut is also made by Graphtech. Pickups on this model are custom made for Line 6. They have Alnico III magnets and sport open-coil hot rod looks. Master volume and master tone knobs are accompanied by two Variax control knobs and a five-position blade switch. Bridge position also features a concealed piezo pickup for the acoustic tone presets. Neck on this model is made of three pieces of maple and it features the standard super slim contour in the back. It`s topped with a regular 24-fret rosewood fingerboard. Black tuners and 25-1/2" scale wrap the story up.
