Music Man brings a new signature from John Petrucci line. It is one of the hottest six-stringers from NAMM 2012.
John Petrucci and Music Man collaborate for years now, and have a very successful and long lasting line of John`s signature models. This time they bring us a gorgeous JP12 which sums up and improves some of the features seen on previous models. It is a double cutaway, solid bodied guitar made of basswood back with mahogany tone block and maple top. Cherry sugar is the color of choice for this model, and it comes with a gloss finish. Tremolo bridge conceals a piezo pickup which is added to a standard combo of two passive humbuckers in bridge and neck positions. Humbuckers are from DiMarzio. Neck on this model is made of mahogany and features a five bolt joint with a sculpted heel for easier access to higher frets. Ebony fingerboard has 24 medium jumbo frets with dot position inlays.
