With eleven new models in the hollow-body segment of the catalog, Ibanez charges into the 2014 with great ambitions.
Ibanez has one of the most versatile catalogs in the entire industry and is super strong on all fronts. This also goes for the hollow-bodied electric guitars segment, where Ibanez models have established themselves as leaders on the market. For 2014, Ibanez introduces eleven new models in four series. Newly established Artstar Prestige series kicks off with three new models: AF200, AS200 and AM205. Artstar series is updated with two six-stringers: AF151F and AS153. Artcore Expressionist line is also reinforced with two models: AFJ91 and AM93. Fourth and last series updated on 2014 NAMM Show is Artcore. It receives four models: AF71F, AF75TDG, AFD75T and AS73.
Ibanez AF200 is the first model reviewed in this text. It is introduced into the newly established Artstar Prestige. Fully hollow and single-cut body is made of maple back and sides and spruce sound board on top. Ibanez AM205 is a fully hollow guitar with vintage double-cut design and fully hollow construction. It is one of three classic jazz boxes introduced into the Artstar Prestige line. Ibanez AF151F is a brand new model introduced into the Artstar line. It is a vintage-styled single-cut with arched top and back. Maple back and sides are topped with a spruce sound board.
