This January Cort Guitars are blooming with new models all over the place. Basses have also received their share of new models.
Cort Guitars kitchen is working with full capacities this January as we are represented with an enormous number of new models. Bass department has received 6 new models in 2 series. Curbow Series is added 4 new models, Curbow41, Curbow 42, Curbow51 and Curbow52. T series is reinforced by T54 and T55 models. These bass models are just a fraction of the entire number of almost 30 new models released this January.
Curbow Series
Curbow Series bass guitars are developed and built by Cort luthiers together with Greg Curbow. This means class and distinction when compared to other similar basses. Modern double cutaways, Bartolini pickups with slap switches and 24 frets make these basses really stand out from the crowd. The tone of these beasts is even more impressive. Curbow series received following new models: Curbow41, Curbow42, Curbow51 and Curbow52.
Cort Curbow 41 is a double cutaway model with a solid body and contoured top. the body is made of soft maple and features no binding. Fixed EB10 bridge has 4 saddles. Active Bartolini single coil pickup is placed in the bridge position. The neck is made of Canadian hard maple and has aa rosewood fingerboard with 24 large frets. 34" scale, die-cast tuners and 15-3/4" fingerboard radius wrap the spec. Cort Curbow42 is a dual pickup variant of the Curbow41. It also features a double cutaway bodu with contoured top. Black and brown sunburst colors are both finished in gloss. Two Bartolini MK1 active single coils are placed in the bridge and neck positions. Three piece maple neck has a 24 fret rosewood fingerboard with no inlays. Cort Curbow51 is also a double cutaway model same as previous two, with the difference being this one is a five stringer. Maple body with carved top and brown sunburst color is finished in gloss. Three piece maple neck is equipped with rosewood fingerboard with 24 large frets. One active Bartolini single coil pickup is in charge of amplification. Cort Curbow52 is a dual pickup version of Curbow 51. It is a double cutaway model with contoured top and glossy finish over the brown sunburst color. T Series
T Series basses are made for the young nad adventurous players around the world. Aggressive cutaways, contoured bodies and sleek necks are combined with powerful pickups and attractive color options for the ultimate stage instruments available from Cort`s bass department. T series enter 2012 with two new models: T54 and T55.
Cort T54 is a double cutaway model with a contoured body made of Agathis. No pickguards are featured on this model. three piece mahogany neck has a rosewood fingerboard with 24 frets and dot inlays. Cort T55 is a double cutaway, EMG powered mean machine. It`s body is made of agathis with white binding. The top is contoured and features no pickguards.
