For the summer of 2012 Epiphone and Jack Casady designed and produced a brand new semi-hollow bass in Jack`s signature line, the Limited Edition Jack Casady Silverburst Bass. This model has a solid foundation based on the popularity of already existing Jack`s signature model. Quality and awesome tone are trademarks of the entire line, and limited edition is no exception. Jack prefers his semi-hollows for they combine the response of the upright double bass with strength and versatility of a solid-bodied one. For decades now semi-hollow basses dominate Jack`s arsenal.
Epiphone Limited Edition Jack Casady Silverburst Bass is a double cutaway model with semi-hollow construction. Maple is used for the entire body, with back and sides being laminated. Rich appearance of this model is complemented with white binding, carved top, "f" holes and elegant elevated pickguard. JCB-1 humbucker features master volume nad tone knobs. In addition to this, there is a VariGain knob with three positions. It lets the player decide just how much juice he or she needs.
