The exclusive 10 for `15 line is envisioned as one-of-a-kind homage to the glorious Fender history and the times when Tele and Strat reigned supremely over the competition. Instead of focusing on specific model reissues, Fender took this series the other way. Each of the models is a nod to a certain period or phase. Ten models are planned to be released before 2015 ends. Thus far, six have been launched, including the current model. Three Strats and two Telecasters were already introduced (one of the previous Telecasters came with a double-cut body). The sixth one is a Telecaster, as well. It comes with special Custom Shop electronics, unique set of tonewoods and high-end hardware. Price tag hasn`t been unveiled yet, though it is expected to be well in the four-figure range. Fender Limited Edition Vintage Hot Rod ’50s Telecaster Reclaimed Redwood is the sixth model of the exclusive 10 for `15 series. It comes with a one-piece redwood body and Custom Shop electronics. Hot rodded pickups on this six-string renegade grant the player a huge scope of tonal options, mostly thanks to the exceptional morphing capabilities of the Wide Range humbucker. 21-fret maple fingerboard with a compound radius and slim D profile of the neck are carefully tailored as a compromise between the tradition and what most contemporary players are used to. Classic Tele bridge with three brass-plated saddles, black pickguard and vintage tuners are in unison with the strong `50s vibe of this spiced up Tele.
