Two Rockmasters and one Predator model reinforce the Walking Dead line of affordable six-string guitars. All have custom graphics inspired by the show.
Peavey`s electric guitar segment of the catalog is being reinforced with three new models and they will all be assigned to the Walking Dead series. This series offers very affordable electric six-stringers with simple construction and custom graphics inspired by the Walking Dead franchise. The concept behind this series is largely similar to the one behind the Avengers series with Marvel`s super hero graphics. Three models introduced for the winter 2013 are: Michonne Rockmaster, OmniV4 Rockmaster and The Walking Dead Cover Predator. First two models are based on the Peavey`s introductory model, the Rockmaster, while the third one features Predator series design and hardware.
Peavey Michonne Rockmaster is a solid-bodied and double-cut guitar made of basswood body and a maple neck. This one is based on the most basic model in Peavey catalog, the Rockmaster and, accordingly, features flat top, classic hardtail bridge and only one pickup. The pickup is set in the bridge position and rocks double coils. Master volume and master tone knobs are included into the controls section. Peavey OmniV4 Rockmaster is the second of two Rockmaster models introduced into the Walking Dead series this time. Classic Rockmaster design and construction include the solid and double-cut basswood body, bolted maple neck and simple hardware layout. Hardtail bridge and bridge-positioned humbucker with volume and tone knobs are installed on the body, while the die-cast tuners are featured on the headstock. Peavey The Walking Dead Cover Predator is the only Predator series model introduced this time. It comes with a solid and double-cut basswood body and a bolted maple neck. On the top, there is a lone tune-o-matic bridge and a pair of passive humbucking pickups with coil split switch. Maple neck features the standard Predator contour in the back and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on the top.
