PRS unveils a brand new S2 series made up of three upper mid-range guitars with stripped down styling and genuine PRS tone.
PRS is a brand known for the luxurious guitars with super elegant styling, magnificent build quality and classy tone. For decades, the PRS has been the epitome of quality and upscale guitar, available to chosen few players. For the summer of 2013, PRS has decided to give a chance to a wider range of players to taste the true essence of quality and style with their new S2 series. Kicking off with only three models in the initial lineup, PRS S2 series offers less luxury and decorations, while retaining all the goods under the hood, characteristic for PRS models. S2 Custom 24, S2 Mira and S2 Starla make up the series lineup. Custom 24 and Mira are double-cuts, while the Starla is the only single-cut in the series. All three are solid and feature the classic all-mahogany construction. S2 is positioned in the $1,179-$1,399, which is not exactly budget friendly, but compared to the main models, it proves to be affordable, after all.
