RGD420 and AF105 Unveiled by Ibanez

Ibanez expands RGD range of solid bodied guitars with an intricate RGD420 and AF series of hollow bodied guitars with a vintage-styled AF105.

This time around, Ibanez brings a mixture of modern and vintage, a blend that is hard to maintain, and which has become a hallmark for Ibanez. On one side, there`s an ultra modern RGD series which caters to the needs of metal players with preference for lower tunings, and on the other side, tradition kicks in with a line of vintage-styled AF models. Super modern RGD series is updated with RGD420, while the AF series gets the AF105. These two guitars are covering for entirely different ranges of guitarists, while still being of the same brand. This type of brand versatility is truly rare and Ibanez makes it seem effortless.

Ibanez RGD420 is a brand new killing machine from the down-tuned RGD series, and it comes with a basswood-made double cutaway body. It has a carved top and satin finish over it`s black color. Neck on this model is made of three pieces of maple and equipped with a Wizard III contour. Humbuckers on this model come with only a volume control knob and a three-way toggle pickup switch.
