New acoustic and acoustic-electric models are represented by Schecter. There are six new models, two signatures, three Hellraisers and one Omen Extreme.
Schecter`s acoustic department has put in great amount of work and it comes with six models for 2012. Five of these are acoustic electrics, with only one completely acoustic guitar. These new models come in four different series. Signature models are Robert Smith RS-1000 and Grant Lee Phillips GLP-1. Hellraiser line brings us Hellraiser Stage Acoustic, Hellraiser Studio Acoustic and Hellraiser Studio Acoustic Left Handed. Omen series has got Omen Extreme Acoustic. All of these models are made with high quality materials and master craftsmanship skills. Hellraiser and Omen models share some aesthetic appointments with their electric siblings.
Schecter Robert Smith RS-1000 is an acoustic model in the line of Robert`s signature models. It is a fully acoustic non-cutaway dreadnought with a flat top. Moon and stars inlays, white binding and white bridge pins and saddle stand out and make the feamiliar contrast characteristic for Robert Smith`s signature models. Maple back, sides and spruce top are matched with a maple neck with rosewood fingerboard. 21 frets, 25-1/2" scale and Grover tuners wrap this model up. Schecter Grant Lee Phillips GLP-1 is the second signature model for this catalog update, and it is an acoustic-electric concert model. Famous Grant Lee Phillips signs this all-mahogany non-cutaway model. With the natural finish and abalone & pearl binding. Neck is made of mahogany and equipped with rosewood fingerboard with 20 frets. Other than this, GLP-1 has Fishman electronics with a Matrix under-saddle pickup and Matrix Infinity preamp. Schecter Hellraiser Stage Acoustic is actually an acoustic-electric guitar with a Florentine cutaway concert body. It comes with the same color options, bindings and inlays as it`s electric counterparts. The body is made of maple with a quilted maple top and comes in black cherry and see-thru black color options. Diamond bridge on this model is painted black. Fishman Presys under-saddle pickup and Fishman acoustic preamp with side-mounted controls. The neck is made of mahogany and has a rosewood fingerboard with 20 frets. abalone and gray pearl gothic cross inlays are available depending on color chosen. Schecter Hellraiser Studio Acoustic and Schecter Hellraiser Studio Acoustic Left Handed are models of the studio division of the Hellraiser acoustic part of the family. They are equipped with color options, bindings and inlays matching the ones on electric Hellraisers. Maple body, quilted maple top, diamond bridge, Fishman electronics with side-mounted on-board controls, mahogany neck and rosewood fingweboard with 20 frets guarantee for a great playing experience. Schecter Omen Extreme Acoustic is another acoustic-electric model novelty. It comes within the Omen family of models which encompasses models from all areas of Schecter`s instrument production. It is a Venetian cutaway concert shaped model made of maple body and mahogany neck. Diamond bridge and rosewood fingerboard add to the overall sonic versatility. Pearloid binding, vector inlays and pearl rosette add a note of elegance to this model. Fishman electronics setup takes care of the amplified sound.
