Fresh for 2012, Schecter`s Hellraiser Extreme series comes as a new leader of Hellraiser line.
Schecter`s Hellraiser series is a line of extreme metal oriented axes on it`s own and one could have thought that Schecter couldn`t go any further. But, here comes the Hellraiser Extreme line with even sharper looks and sound. Currently, this new line consists of four models: Hellraiser Extreme C-1, Hellraiser Extreme C-1 Left Handed, Hellraiser Extreme C-1 FR and Hellraiser Extreme C-1 FR Left Handed. The main feature of the series is the body construction which features maple/walnut through-body necks. Other than that, EMG active humbuckers and a choice between maple and ebony fingerboards are hallmarks of the series.
Schecter Hellraiser Extreme C-1 is a basic model of the new Hellraiser Extreme line of models and it starts off as a solid, double cutaway model with a body made of mahogany with a maple/walnut neck running through it. Available in see-thru black satin, crimson red burst satin and three-tone sunburst with multiple layers of white and black bindings around the carved top. Floyd Rose 1000 bridge, EMG active combo of 81/89R humbuckers with coil splitting and 24 extra jumbo frets make sure this beast sounds as good as it looks. Black chrome hardware and 25-1/2" scale complete the spec. Schecter Hellraiser Extreme C-1 FR is a Floyd Rose equipped variant of Hellraiser Extreme C-1. It is currently the premier model of both Hellraiser line and Schecter catalog if we exclude the custom shop creations. Solid mahogany body with carved flame maple top and maple/walnut neck in neck-through-body configuration makes a great base for this model. Top s carved and bound in black and white. Bridge is the same as on Hellraiser Extreme C-1 FR, Floyd Rose 1000 series. EMG 81/89R combo with coil splitting drives this model as well. Controls are made up of master tone, two volume knods with push-pull and a three-position blade pickup switch. maple and ebony are woods of choice for fingerboard and are both equipped with 24 extra jumbo frets and gothic cross inlays.
