Schecter Introduces Hellraiser 006 and 007 Limited Models

Super cool Hellraiser 006 and 007 models are hitting the market in limited numbers. Both fixed bridge and Floyd Rose variants are available.

 Schecter Guitars are enjoying tremendous success with their electric guitars department. Hellraiser Special, Hellraiser and Hellraiser Extreme tiers cover a vast range of players and budgets. Special is made for players who want the quality, but are willing to sacrifice some luxury in order to squeze the guitar into the budget. regular Hellraisers are professional level instruments with reasonable price tags, while the Hellraiser Extreme guitars represent the best guitars with Schecter name money can buy. For 2013, Schecter has introduced several new models into the regular Schecter segments and four Special Edition 006 and 007 Hellraisers, which are available in limited numbers. All four are situated within the Special Editions series. 006, 006 FR, 007 and 007 FR are their names.

Schecter Hellraiser 006 is a fixed-bridge Hellraiser with shorter cutaway horns. Tune-o-matic bridge with string-through construction is installed on top of the solid, double-cu body made of mahogany back and quilt maple top. It is fronted with EMG81 in the bridge and 89 in the neck position. Volume knobs have push/pull knobs for coil splitting. Set in mahogany neck is topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard. Schecter locking tuners are installed on the headstock in 3+3 pattern. Gloss finish, 25-1/2" scale and black chrome hardware plating complete the specs list. Schecter Hellraiser 006 FR is the Floyd Rose variant of the 006 model. It comes with a solid, double-cut body made of mahogany back and quilted maple top. Top is carved, bound in abalone and it features an original Floyd Rose trem bridge. In front of the bridge, Schecter installs EMG81/89 combo. These active humbuckers can be split with push/pull switches installed on the volume knobs. Set in mahogany neck is topped with a 24-fret fingerboard made of rosewood. Schecter Hellraiser 007 is one of two the seven-stringers of this limited series. It features a solid, double-cut mahogany body with quilt maple top. Standard Crimson Red Burst with abalone binding, gloss finish and black chrome plating is the only color scheme. Seven-saddled tune-o-matic bridge has string-through construction. EMG 707 humbuckers are installed in the front. Standard push/pull switches are featured on volume knobs. Set in neck is made of mahogany. It`s topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard. Schecter Hellraiser 007 FR is the fourth and final limited edition Hellraiser 00 model introduced this time. Solid, double-cut body is made of mahogany back and quilted maple top. Top is carved, bound in abalone and finished in gloss. Floyd Rose bridge is installed on the top and it`s fronted by a pair of EMG 707 humbuckers. These can be split into single coils with push/pull switches featured on the volume knobs. Mahogany neck on this model is set in and topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
