Schecter introduces a new Hellraiser for 2013 edition of the catalog. 24 frets, Sustainiac pickup, Floyd Rose bridge and top quality build grace this six-stringer.
Schecter is currently one of the leading brands when it comes to metal-oriented guitars with reasonable pricing. Hellraiser is one of the corner stone series in the catalog and is one of the top options in the entire catalog. For 2013 Schecter updates it with a Sustainiac-equipped C-1. C-1 FR Sustainiac is one of the finest axes in it`s price range and it will be available from the January 2013. The biggest difference from the regular C-1 FR is in the pickups area. Bridge pickup is still EMG`s legendary 81, but the 85 from the neck position is replaced with Schecter`s highly acclaimed Sustainiac pickup. Electronics unit which accompanies this mighty setup consists of regular master volume, master tone and three-position blade switch. In addition, Schecter installs intensity knob and two mini-switches for the Sustainiac.
Body of Schecter Hellraiser C-1 FR Sustainiac is solid, double cut and made in two variants. The first variant is Black Cherry with gloss finish, it comes with mahogany back and carved quilt maple top. Multiple abalone binding surrounds the edges of the top. Second is Black with gloss finish and gloss finish. Black is made only of mahogany, without quilt maple top. Neck is made of three pieces of mahogany and it`s set-in, glued to the body. It features fast contour and ultra access heel and cutaway. Neck is topped with a 2r-fret fingerboard made of rosewood. Extra jumbo-sized frets are decorated with abalone Gothic cross inlays. Bridge section on this 25-1/2" scaled doublecut is equipped with a 1000 series Floyd Rose double locking tremolo bridge. On the opposite side of the scale, Schecter installs a locking string nut. Grover tuners on the headstock are, as is the bridge, plated in black chrome. Elegance, power and supreme tone are the words to describe this marvel.
