Seagull Guitars are acoustic branch of Canada`s largest guitar manufacturer, Godin Guitars. Often, parent companies are too eager to enforce their own style and models onto their branch manufacturers, but Godin lets Seagull Guitars carve their own path with distinctive designs and model development ideas. One of the most prominent features of Seagull`s catalog is heavy use of Canadian tone woods. Seagull catalog contains several series and one of the most popular ones is Entourage with it`s diverse body styles. For the fall of 2012 Seagull luthiers are expanding the ranks of this line with Entourage Rustic Grand model. Small-bodied acoustic with big sound, are the words straight from the manufacturer.
Seagull Entourage Grand Rustic is a parlor-sized guitar made with non-cutaway design and fully acoustic construction. Canadian wild cherry comprises back and side panels, while the solid cedar sound board is on top. This body is then paired with Silver Leaf maple neck, which is set in and equipped with slim contour. Slim neck profile results in 1.72" wide TUSQ nut. It is a very comfortable neck with 14th fret joint in the back and rosewood fingerboard on top. 21 frets are covered with dot inlays. Headstock is equipped with a set of six gold-plated tuning machines. Rustic Burst is the name of the color scheme assigned too this model and it comes with semi-gloss finish.
