One of the most deserving bass players in metal finally gets the signature. And it`s a Casket Bass from Schecter Guitars.
With Schecter`s guitars and basses there is no fooling around they are built to raise hell and they do it so well. Four strings, five strings, six, seven, eight, it doesn`t matter, Schecter`s got it covered with their metal arsenal. Fall of 2012 brings us one of the most intriguing updates in a long time from Schecter. Sean Yseult and Schecter have joined forces and the result is the dangerously beautiful Sean Yseult Casket Bass. Beauty and the beast merge into one on this great bass. And it goes far beyond the mesmerizing looks, this one sounds tremendously serious, strong and mature, thanks to the high quality wood and EMG pickups. Playability is fantastic on this casket, as Schecter installs a slim and fast neck on it. With the price tag set at $1,069 for the right-handed and $1,119 for the left-handed variant, this one is bound to be a best seller.
Schecter Sean Yseult Casket Bass and Schecter Sean Yseult Casket Bass Left Handed are twin models made for Sean Yseult and her newly established line of signature basses. These four-stringers come with mahogany-made bodies and three-piece mahogany necks with set-in joint. EMG-35P4 humbuckers are installed in both the bridge and neck positions of both models, thus giving these basses unbelievably strong sound. Streamlined necks are very comfortable and allow the players to fully explore the ebony fingerboards. Fingerboards have identical specs, 21 medium-sized frets, star inlays and special dagger inlays at 12th fret. Grover makes and supplies the tuners for both models and in both cases they are plated in chrome. The same bridge is used for both models and each player can choose between top-load and string-through construction options. Black color is the only option for both caskets.
