A limited run of 60 copies of Sheryl Crow`s 1959 Telecaster Custom is being released, with one copy being signed and donated to National Breast Cancer Foundation.

In 1959 Fender released the first Telecaster with Custom badge, which became an instant hit. Throughout the years it proved to be one of the coolest and most sought after Telecasters ever made. As Years passed by thousands upon thousands of players honed their skills exactly on this Tele. One of them was Sheryl Crow. In 1994, just before the start of her first solo tour, her 1959 Custom Telecaster was stolen. She quickly replaced it and embarked on the tour. After the show in Austin, a fan gave her a 1959 Tele, which belonged to his mother, who died of breast cancer. Sheryl took it and it became her main instrument. It has been her number one guitar for studio and stage for almost 20 years and now Fender Custom Shop is launching a limited edition made after it. The model is named Limited Edition Sheryl Crow 1959 Custom Telecaster and it will be available in 60 copies only. First copy became Sheryl`s new main instrument and one copy was signed by her and donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition Sheryl Crow 1959 Custom Telecaster is a solid-bodied guitar with single cut construction and it`s made of lightweight alder. It is bound in creme and equipped with a standard plastic pickguard. Neck is made of maple, it`s bolted to the body and it sports the '60s C contour in the back. '63 Telecaster pickups come in S/S configuration and feature standard master volume/master tone/three position blade switch control unit. Bridge section is equipped with a classic "tray" bridge with string-through construction and three compensated saddles. 21-fret fingerboard is made of rosewood and it features dot inlays, 7.25" radius and 1.65" bone nut. It is available in Faded Chocolate 3-Color Sunburst with nitrocellulose lacquer finish. Limited Edition Sheryl Crow 1959 Custom Telecaster costs $7,500.
