Four new models are being introduced into the Vintage Modified series by Squier. These models come in Jaguar, Strat and Telecaster shapes.

The Vintage modified line is dedicated to them, it displays some of the most popular and desired modifications of Fender`s legends such as Stratocaster, Telecaster and Jaguar. New models this time include: Vintage Modified Jagmaster, Vintage Modified Surf Stratocaster, Vintage Modified '70s Stratocaster and Vintage Modified Telecaster Special.
Squier Vintage Modified Jagmaster is the first of four new Vintage Modified models reviewed in this article, and it comes with a solid alder body in famous Jazzmaster/Jaguar shape. This model features Jaguar`s standard 24" scale which is perfect for the players looking for a smaller guitar with a full-size punch and flavor. Strong and sturdy tremolo bridge is paired with two Duncan Designed humbuckers which bring abundance of sustain and tonal versatility. Squier Vintage Modified Surf Stratocaster brings the spirit of surf craze from '50s and '60s with it`s surf green, sonic blue and candy apple red color options. This Strat has vintage tremolo bridge with string-through construction. Duncan Designed single coil pickups are position in classic Strat layout. Maple neck is equipped with C contour, bolt-on joint and rosewood fingerboard. 21 medium jumbo frets, dot position inlays and standard 25-1/2" scale complete the spec for this cool surfer. Squier Vintage Modified '70s Stratocaster represents what Strats might have looked like in the funky years. It comes in black and vintage white with black and chrome hardware. This model`s main features include vintage style two-point synchronized tremolo, black cap single coil pickups and maple neck with C contour. The fingerboard can be made of either maple or rosewood, and in both options there arw 21 medium jumbo frets with dot position inlays. Squier Vintage Modified Telecaster Special is fusing some Jazzmaster features into the Tele shape. These include a Jazzmaster neck pickup and vintage tint maple Jazzmaster maple neck. Other than that, there are white and butterscotch blonde color options, vintage Tele bridge with three barrel saddles and string-through construction. Fingerboard on this model is made of maple and equipped with 21 medium jumbo frets and black dot inlays.
