Vintage Modified Telecaster Bass and Vintage Modified Telecaster Bass Special are refreshing the Vintage Modified series this summer.
Vintage Modified is the series which offers vintage styled guitars and basses with modern tone. Also, some of the appointments besides the pickups might be updated to match the contemporary trends. These models are primarily aimed at players who play a mix of vintage and modern rock and dig the retro styled guitars, but are unable to afford a Fender original. Two brand new models are being introduced into the bass section of this series. Their names are Vintage Modified Telecaster Bass and Vintage Modified Telecaster Bass Special. They are both based on the old Tele basses made in '60s and '70s.
Squier Vintage Modified Telecaster Bass is a solid bodied electric bass from the newly established section of Telecaster basses in Vintage modified series made by Squier. This bass features basswood body in combination with maple neck. These two are connected through a bolt-on joint. Electronics on this model are made up of a middle-positioned Duncan Design single coil pickup with three-position blade switch. Bridge is a vintage-styled appointment, it has 2 saddles with top-load construction. Maple fingerboard is equipped with a standard pack of 20 medium jumbo frets with black dot inlays. Squier Vintage Modified Telecaster Bass Special is the second Tele-shaped bass introduced this summer. It features single coil pickup in the bridge and Duncan Design humbucker in the neck position. Standard master volume, master tone and three-position blade switch comprise the controls. Bridge has four saddles and top-load construction. Flat, single coil body is made of basswood. It`s combined with a maple neck with C contour on the back. This neck is topped with a 20-fret maple fingerboard. 20 frets, 9.50" radius and 1.70" string nut wrap the fingerboard.
