Squier is a brand dedicated to the production of affordable guitars and basses based on the upscale Fender models. Vintage Modified is one of the most important lines in the Squier catalog and for the summer 2013, it`s bass side got completely overhauled and refreshed with twelve new models. Four Precision Bass models are introduced: Vintage Modified Cabronita Precision Bass, Vintage Modified Precision Bass V, Vintage Modified Precision Bass and Vintage Modified Precision Bass PJ. Jazz Bass segment has six new models: Vintage Modified Jazz Bass, Vintage Modified Jazz Bass Left Handed, Vintage Modified Jazz Bass '70s, Vintage Modified Jazz Bass '70s Left Handed, Vintage Modified Jazz Bass Fretless and Vintage Modified Jazz Bass '77. Squier Vintage Modified Cabronita Precision Bass opens up the review section of this article. Squier Vintage Modified Precision Bass Fretless is the first fretless model reviewed today. Solid and double-cut Precision body is made of maple and it`s combined with a bolted maple neck. Squier Vintage Modified Precision Bass PJ is one of four Precision models introduced for 2013. It comes with a solid and double-cut maple body, as well as with maple neck. Only the 20-fret fingerboard is made of rosewood. Series standard four-saddled bridge is fronted with a Fender-designed pickups combo. Squier Vintage Modified Bass VI makes a big comeback. It was a standard model in the 1960s and 1970s in Fender catalog and is now returning in the Squier Vintage Modified series.
