Takamine January and February Updates

Along with the breath taking Limited Edition model, Takamine has also introduced an awesome intermediate class jumbo into the G Series.

As Japan`s premier acoustics brand, Takamine has a lot of responsibility and a lot of pressure to maintain the level of quality and remain relevant and current on the ever-changing market. But, it seems as though the Gifu Prefecture-based brand does it effortlessly. 2014 marks the fifty second anniversary of this prominent brand and, while not being as glamorous and festive as the fiftieth, it certainly gives it`s own gifts and blessings in maturity, wisdom and longevity. For this year, Takamine has reached towards the roots for inspiration for the majestic LTD2014 Grouse, a 52 model limited series. Fingerboard inlays are inspired by the Japanese Grouse which is the symbol of Takamine`s native prefecture, Gifu. Along with the exclusive dreadnought, Takamine also introduces an intermediate class work horse, the CJ72CE model. This one is made for hard working musicians who need affordable and utterly reliable six-stringer at their side. Both of these models feature Takamine`s own electronics.

Takamine LTD2014 Grouse is a single-cut dreadnought guitar with slope-shoulder design and exclusive Takamine styling. Only 52 of these will be made and the fingerboard inlay pattern will never be duplicated. Flamed maple/spruce body is paired with a mahogany neck and fit with the most exclusive pickup/preamp set Takamine has to offer. 20-fret ebony fingerboard, black-clad tuners and rosewood bridge are also featured.
