An exclusive K28e model is unveiled by Taylor Guitars. It features highly customizable specs list and superior Taylor tone.
Taylor Guitars are one of the leading brands on the acoustic guitar market. Their huge catalog has, in past 35 years, diversified into acoustic, acoustic-electric and electric divisions. Over the course of years, acoustic and acoustic-electric segments have become a lot bigger and stronger than electrics department. Taylor`s numbered series form the strongest pillars of the catalog with series ranging from basic 100 and 200 to exclusive 800 and 900. Between them, the 300, 400, 500, 600 and 700 series form the middle class of the catalog. Above the numbered series, only the specialty series and seasonal limited edition series are ranked. These series rank among the best and most exclusive series in the entire industry. Today`s spotlight model, the K28e is a part of the exclusive Koa series. It is an acoustic-electric guitar with non-cutaway design of the body. This is the first edition of K28e and it is limited to 100 copies for world-wide distribution.
Taylor K28e is an exclusive acoustic-electric guitar with non-cutaway variant of the grand orchestra body. This is a fairly new shape in Taylor catalog which combines the strength of the dreadnought and subtlety of smaller body contours. Back and sides are made of Hawaiian koa, though the top can be made of either koa, or spruce. Koa top is the default one. Body of this model is equipped with Taylor`s Expression system for the best possible tone when plugged in. Also, the special grand orchestra bracing is applied within the body. On the outside, Taylor installs creme binding around the sound board and ebony bridge on it. Several color schemes are offered for this model. Standard Taylor neck is attached to the body with a dovetail joint and it`s topped with also standard 20-fret ebony fingerboard. Custom inlay stretches over the frets. Some options from the extensive list of options each player can customize include: nylon strings, Gotoh tuners, left hand stringing and Florentine-styled cutaway.
