Taylor unveils yet another fascinating Limited Edition lineup. This time it is the Spring 2014 edition with marvelous 300 and 400 models.
Taylor`s traditional Limited Edition series is being renewed every Spring and Fall with new series and models based on the standard catalog models. Occasionally, the Limited Edition series would host a completely new model, unrelated to the ones found in the standard section of the catalog. For the Spring 2014 incarnation of the Limited Edition series, Taylor has prepared one baritone and five standard-scaled acoustic-electric guitars. This time, there are no fully acoustic models. 300 Baritone series has only one model, the gorgeous 320e-Baritone SLTD, while the 400 series comes with five models: 410ce-SLTD, 412ce-SLTD, 414ce-SLTD, 416ce-SLTD and 456ce-SLTD (a twelve-string model).
Taylor 320e-Baritone SLTD is the only model in the 300 series and the only baritone guitar in the spring 2014 Limited Edition lineup. It comes with a non-cutaway dreadnought body made of sapele back and sides and mahogany top. Taylor electronics (Expression 2 System), Taylor hardware and ebony fingerboard complete the specs. Taylor 410ce-SLTD is one of two dreads introduced this spring and is the only one in the 400 series. It comes with a single-cut body made of ovangkol back and sides and spruce sound board. Neck is made of tropical mahogany, while the fingerboard and bridge are made of ebony. Taylor hardware and electronics are also featured on 400 series models. For more info, check 410ce-SLTD detail page on our site, or on Taylor Guitars official web page.
Taylor 412ce-SLTD comes with a grand concert body made of ovangkol and spruce. Ovangkol back and sides and spruce top are solid, thus giving a superior tone and projection. White binding around the top and tortoise shell pickguard contrast the glossy natural color of the wood. Main features and appointments are same on all 400 series models. For more info, check 412ce-SLTD detail page on our site, or on Taylor Guitars official web page.
Taylor 414ce-SLTD is the only grand concert model out of six guitars unveiled this spring. As all 400 series models do, this one also features a single-cut body with Taylor electronics and Taylor hardware installed. Ovangkol back and sides, spruce sound board, tropical mahogany neck and ebony bridge and fingerboard are also featured on this model. Taylor 416ce-SLTD is the six-stringed Grand Symphony guitar. It comes with all of the standard features of the Spring Limited Edition 400 series. These include ovangkol/spruce body with single cutaway, tropical mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and bridge, Taylor tuners, Taylor electronics (Expression System of the second generation) and many more.
