Titanic Guitars mark one century of the Titanic`s launch with four acoustic-electric and four electric guitars.
In Spring of 1912, one of the biggest and most luxurious cruise ships ever was made. Awed with it`s size and splendor, it`s builders named it Titanic. Today, one hundred years after it`s launch, a small group of Irish luthiers gathered under the name Titanic guitars and prepared eight limited edition guitars to celebrate this milestone. Luxury and exclusivity are guaranteed with only a hundred copies of each model will be made. Hand selected tonewoods and top shelf hardware are used in the manufacturing process. Acoustic models are: Belfast Goliath, Southampton Parlor, Liverpool Concert and New York Dreadnought. Electrics are: Jack Of Hearts, Rose, North Star and South Star.
Jack Of Hearts is one of two semi-acoustic models and is paired with Rose model. This Semi-hollow bodied guitar breathes with luxury, from it`s chambered maple body, to bound "f" holes, carved top, elegant hardware, custom humbucking pickups and diamond inlays. Rose is the second ES-styled model in the Titanic line. Semi-hollow body is made of laminated maple and paired with maple neck. Custom wound humbuckers make sure no other guitar sings like Rose. Bound "f" holes, vintage Der Jung tuners, vintage sunburst color and MOP block inlays give Rose taste of high class. Titanic Southampton Parlor is one of four acoustic-electric models in this line, and is the only with parlor shape. With it`s black color and natural mahogany binding, this parlor is a true eye-catcher. Mahogany backs and sides and solid spruce top are paired with mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard for a rock-solid foundation. Fishman electronics and Der Jung tuners complete the specs. Titanic Liverpool Concert is coming up as the only concert shaped acoustic from Titanic Guitars. It will also be made in only one hundred copies, one for each year since Titanic`s launch. Liverpool Concert has all-mahogany body paired with mahogany neck. The bridge and fingerboard are made of ebony with rosewood headstock overlay. One of those is Titanic North Star, shaped after the cult SG guitar. This bare-necessities guitar is stripped down and equipped with only what is absolutely necessary for raw blues and rock. Named after the crane which was used in the process of building the Titanic, Belfast Goliath comes with a jumbo shape, the largest one in the industry. Mahogany and cedar comprise the body and with mahogany neck they form a great foundation for good tone. Ebony fingerboard is a standard on all Titanic limited models. Titanic South Star is the pair of the North Star SG. South Star is fashioned after double cutaway Les Pauls of the past. Classic yellow paint, single coil pickups and 22 frets bring the vintage feel.
