Vox Apache Series Unveiled

Vox introduced brand new Apache series just in time for the summer NAMM.

Vox Apache Series Unveiled

Apache series of electric guitars with built-in amps is launched and will be exhibited at the Vox booth at summer NAMM Show this year.

Vox is primarily known for their top notch amps. While the guitars play important role in their catalog, they are not as popular as the amps made by Vox. So, this summer Vox luthiers came up with a magnificent idea, they merged guitars and amps into one and the Apache series of electric guitars was born. A series made for individuals, adventurers and players who like autonomy. There are currently two models in the series, Apache I and Apache II. They are very similar and the biggest difference is the body shape. Both of them feature small Vox amps installed under the pickguard covers. Slightly shorter scales, advanced electronics and vibrant color options make these guitars attractive, easily playable and portable.

Vox Apache I and Vox Apache II are basically almost identical guitars, though the Apache I comes with a teardrop shape, while the Apache II sports a Phantom shape. Both models have bodies made of basswood, which house Vox amps under the plastic pickguards. There are no top wood veneers or fancy bindings, for Apache series concentrates on performance more than anything else. Both models feature Red, White and Blue colors, Apache I has Sunburst and Apache II is equipped with Black as their respective fourth color options. Gloss is applied as finish on all color options. Hardtail bridges with adjustable saddles are installed on both models. Single coil neck pickup is the only one for both Apaches. Vox amps are installed under the pickguards and they feature a pair of 3" speakers each. Equalizer knobs, overdrive and other belonging controls are installed on the pickguard and are easy to manipulate. These amps have 66 rhythm patterns they can play in tempos from 40 to 240bpm. Necks are made of hard rock maple and are paired with rosewood fingerboards. 22 frets with white dot inlays are standard.
