Washburn releases a Festival series jumbo guitar with Nuno`s name. It`s single-cut, acoustic-electric and plays like a dream.
Washburn and Nuno Bettencourt have a long-lasting and very successful cooperation, which has resulted in several electric signature made for Nuno. At this year`s NAMM Washburn releases the first Nuno Bettencourt signature model with Washburn badge. It`s name is EA20SNB and it comes from the Festival series. This one is a single-cut jumbo guitar with a super elegant Florentine cutaway. Finest rosewood is being used for the back and side panels of the body and Alaskan spruce is the material used for the sound board on the top of the body. Multi-ply binding complements the natural gloss finish with class and style. Rosette is made with mourning widow motif. Neck of this thin jumbo is made of mahogany and it features a dovetail joint. It sports the standard Festival series contour in the back and it`s topped with a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard. Bone nut is 1.69" wide and this fingerboard features a custom 12th fret inlay. It`s matched with a rosewood bridge with bone saddle. Fishman supplies first class electronics for this outstanding jumbo.
